November 30, 2000 : Here are my best attempts so far at resuming my hobby of wildflower photography, now using a digital camera. My new camera, an Epson PhotoPC650, likes a lot of light, so it's not a coincidence that all these pictures were taken in the same sunny field (in Ithaca, NY). There wasn't much time left in the season when I started; maybe I'll get some better pictures next year.

There are three versions of each picture:

  • A 100 x 75 thumbnail (4K).
  • A bigger version that is 400 x 300 (20 - 40K).
  • The biggest version is 800 x 600 (100 - 200K).

All pictures on this page (in all three versions) are Copyright 2000 Paul C. Pratt. Permission is granted to redistribute unmodified copies of these pictures on the condition that copyright is acknowledged (as in "Paul C. Pratt, www.gryphel.net") and that you notify me of such use.

The information given for each picture is

[Year].[Month].[Day].[picture#]
